Play Therapists

supervision

I have worked as a ptuk associate supervisor for 15 years and been fortunate enough to work with some amazing practitioners as they move through their certificate and diploma training and into their careers as play therapists.

I fully subscribe to the principles of play therapy that recognise the child’s innate ability to heal and self-direct within a therapeutic relationship built on trust, acceptance, and permissiveness.

I offer monthly 90 minute sessions for play therapists in line with ptuk and BAPT guidelines. Please get in touch for more information.

“I have been attending supervision with Helen for over 9 years. Without fail each session helps me to clarify my thoughts, find a way forward in confusing situations, and improve as a therapist. Her encouragement and ability to prompt deeper reflection have been invaluable.”

“I met Helen in 2012 when I embarked on my training. Since then Helen has facilitated my supervision, providing a reflective space for clients process through a systemic lens, and supporting me to navigate training and CPD to enhance my practice . The collegiate relationship continues to facilitate healthy discussions linking theory to practice and self.

Having experienced various supervisory models over the years I continue to look forward to our sessions, and highly recommend Helen who offers an integrative approach, in a safe and welcoming environment.”
