Being a parent is incredibly rewarding, but also very hard at times and can pose significant challenges. We can experience a whole host of emotions, sometimes on a daily basis, but also at key points during our parenting journey. For example, returning to work after maternity/paternity leave, as well as transitions, changes, and life events, can all leave us feeling out of balance and in need of some time and space to find a new rhythm. Additionally, processing and understanding diagnoses and special educational needs can often require us to navigate a new path for raising a child.
